Jim Underhill, CFP®, MBA is the founder and Managing Member of Underhill Financial Advisors, LLC, a full-service wealth management firm based in Tucson, Arizona. The firm works best with successful families, business owners and corporate managers facing significant transition. 

Jim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional® with over 26 years’ experience managing clients’ portfolios—Underhill Financial Advisors, LLC services clients in 33 states.  

Jim has a Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of Missouri and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a past Board President of the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council, a member of the Financial Planning Association, the University of Arizona Foundation’s Planned Giving Professional Advisory Council, and The UofA Personal & Family Financial Planning Advisory Board. 

The cornerstone of Jim’s practice is that each client has a personalized financial plan to guide them through life’s transitions. Our planning process simplifies our client’s lives by creating a clear roadmap for their future.  

Jim lives in Tucson and has been married to his wife, Suzanne, for 37 years. They have two sons, Jonathan and Jordan.

Jordan Underhill, CFP® is a financial advisor with Underhill Financial Advisors, LLC. Jordan’s responsibilities include Private Client Wealth Management, Small Business Retirement Planning, Risk Management, and Family Legacy Planning. 

Jordan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation, Series 7 and Series 66 Securities Licenses as well as an Arizona Life & Health Insurance License.  Jordan is a member of the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council and he is a Professional Advisory Committee Member of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. Jordan obtained his Business Degree from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management.

Before joining the Firm, he worked for a Fortune 500, managing a Multi-State Region for their Small Business Sales Division.

Jordan lives in Tucson with his wife Casey, and three children, Charlotte, Desirae, and James.

Davis Baker is Underhill Financial Advisors, LLC’s newest Financial Advisor.

Davis brings us 7 years of financial services experience from two large financial institutions, Vanguard and Fidelity. He is a licensed professional holding FINRA Series 6, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses. He has his Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management.

Davis was born and raised in Tucson and is engaged to his fiancée, Hannah. They enjoy spending time with their rambunctious Catahoula leopard dog, Jackson. In his spare time, Davis can be found on the golf course or riding his bike on Mt Lemmon.

His responsibilities at Underhill Financial include the following:

Our Document Specialist is Elisabeth Russell. Elisabeth is from Albuquerque, NM, and has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. In July 2023, she passed the exams to hold the FPQP™ (Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional) designation. She moved to Tucson in 2015 and has worked as a Document Coordinator for three Jim Click Automotive Dealerships overseeing contracts, warranties, and title documentation.


Elisabeth and her two sons, Damien and Brayden love to play soccer and are all on local teams in Tucson.

Erin Brett is our Client Administrator at Underhill Financial. Erin is a native Tucsonan and has a background in residential real estate, office management, and client administration. Prior to joining the firm, Erin worked for a local non-profit organizing animals and children managing their day-to-day operations and grant submittals. 

Erin has three daughters, Courtney, Haley, and Brielle, and together they share a passion for fostering animals, volunteering, and local involvement. 

Erin's role and responsibilities include:

Alyson Ainza is a senior at the University of Arizona, obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Personal and Family Financial Planning and graduating in May 2025. Her goal is to break down barriers for financial inclusion and promote greater financial well-being and education for everyone. She also works with the Take Charge America Institute as a Cat Ambassador teaching financial literacy to students, and volunteers at the Community Food Bank. A Tucson local and the youngest of two sisters, Alyson enjoys traveling and is excited to join the Underhill team.
